J-Term Scholarships

The last few weeks bring much excitement with the approaching commencement ceremonies for the Class of 2026, end-of-year activities, celebrations, and exams. To add to that excitement, the J-Term 2027 J-Term Travel Catalog was released yesterday evening!

We are excited to announce that the application form for January Term 2027 Scholarships is now open only for the Class of 2027. A limited amount of funding is available each year through the NCSSM Foundation to support January Term Opportunities. The January Term Scholarship Committee is charged with distributing the funds through grants paid directly to the appropriate external travel vendor(s) in the name of those students selected.

If you would like to be considered for a 2027 January Term Scholarship to offset some portion of the total cost of your 2027 January Term extended travel course experience, please complete the January Term Scholarship Application Form no later than 11:59 p.m., Wednesday, May 20, 2026. The application window is currently open for the Class of 2027 only. Priority consideration is given to members of the Class of 2027 who qualify for the NCSSM Financial Assistance Program. Students enrolled in the NCSSM Financial Assistance Program must complete this application form. You must be logged into your NCSSM Google account to complete the application.
